Jr. Farmer– 2 hr visit
Fee: $300/class of up to 25, each additional student $12
Program schedule: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Students will enjoy a tour of the farm including our animals, our bees, and our vegetable fields. They will learn the beginning principles of being good stewards of the land through topics of composting, water conservation, and organic farming practices. Students can enjoy their bagged lunches from home and leave at 1:00 pm.

 

Farmer for the Day – 3 hr visit
Fee: $375/class of up to 25, each additional student $15
Program schedule: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Students will start with an interactive discussion on Sustainable Agriculture. Then they will tour the farm learning about the importance of the watershed, why we farm organically, the importance of compost and bees, how our crops are planted, harvested, and eventually sold or donated.

 

Hybrid Farm-to-Table Workshop- 3 hr visit
Fee: $18/person, $400 minimum, maximum 65 students. One cooked item included.
Program schedule: 10:00 am-1:00 pm
For larger classes who are interested in a farm-to-table experience, we have developed an alternative option. Students will tour the farm and harvest a crop or collect eggs. During the lunch break, while students eat their home brought lunches, a dessert or side dish will be prepared with the farm fresh ingredients. Side dish choices will vary depending on seasonal availability and allergy concerns.

 

Farm-to-Table Workshop – 3 hr visit
Fee: $20/person, $500 minimum, class size limited to 25 max. Includes a tour, cooking and lunch.
Program schedule: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Be part of a Seed to Plate experience. Students will tour the farm and will harvest vegetables and eggs. Then working together will prepare a delicious healthy lunch. Class size will be small and will be dependent on crop availability.
