FUNDRAISING GOALS FOR 2025

- Free School Transportation to our Farm - We have begun offering limited free bus scholarships to schools that are unable to access our suite of educational programs.  Schools are awarded reimbursement for transportation for their students via buses and are offered free programming for their visit.  The need to provide access to our programming is immense so we can reach a larger audience of young folks in the area who otherwise would not be able to make it to the farm for a school trip.

- Refrigerated Mobile Market - We are looking to fundraise for the purchase of a refrigerated van to take our donated products to food distribution sites throughout the county and give us the ability to host pop up markets at events.  Currently all food donations require a volunteer from the partner organizations to come to our farm to pick up the products and greatly reduces our potential impact.  This will give us the ability to bring products to our partners and allow us to move food throughout the county more effectively.  

WHY SUPPORT HILLTOP?

We feed those who need it most.  Food insecurity in Westchester was at 20% of the population pre-pandemic and is now estimated to have doubled.  Equitable access to healthy food is an urgent social justice issue.
 

We manage land to combat climate change.  We show how soil, water, crops and animals combine to sequester carbon, promote biodiversity and protect woods and watershed.
 

We educate children and adults on all aspects of a sustainable future.  From school children to home gardeners to public landowners, we teach the value of organic food, native plants and access to nature.
