How it Works
Group workdays generally run from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Our trained crew leaders will greet you at the main office, get everyone signed in and discuss the goals and objective for the day. This may include weeding, harvesting vegetables for a pantry donation or other tasks planned for the day.
- Dress properly. If working outside or performing manual labor, volunteers should come prepared with a long shirt, long pants, and sturdy closed toed shoes.
- Check the weather before you come. Depending on the forecast pack a jacket, rain gear, etc.
- Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, a reusable water bottle, and a lunch or snack.
- If needed the farm will provide gloves for all volunteers who are working in the field, but you are welcome to bring your own.
