Homeschool at the Farm II: Farm to Table!
This homeschool-specific program takes students’ relationship with food to a whole new level! After caring for and exploring the crop production fields, students will harvest field-fresh ingredients and prepare a delicious meal with the produce available in the early season. We will learn about food waste systems, Community-Supported Agriculture, and what it means to buy and eat local, organic food from farmers you’ve met, and understand why these choices are increasingly impactful in our changing world and climate.
Offered in conjunction with Springtime!, but this is not a prerequisite.
