Films on the Farm under the Stars on the Hilltop

The Friends of Hilltop Hanover Farm & Environmental Center invite you to our new and exciting outdoor film series!

Three evenings in July we will screen visually beautiful stories of regenerative farming and care for our natural environment.

THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM chronicles the eight-year quest of John and Molly Chester as they trade city living for 200 acres of barren farmland and a dream to harvest in harmony with nature.

Through dogged perseverance and embracing the opportunity provided by nature's conflicts, the Chester’s unlock and uncover a biodiverse design for living that exists far beyond their farm, its seasons, and our wildest imagination.

As many irreplaceable seeds near extinction, SEED reveals the harrowing and heartening story of passionate seed keepers as they wage a David and Goliath battle against chemical seed companies, defending a 12,000 year food legacy.

Concerned about his young daughter's future, filmmaker Damon Gameau travels the world in search of new approaches and solutions to climate change. He meets with innovators and changemakers in many fields to draw on their expertise.

Come at 6pm and bring a picnic dinner to enjoy before the film or purchase a boxed dinner prepared by Tastefully Yours of Briarcliff Manor. 

We'll have a speaker or two starting at 7pm to set the stage; films will begin just after sunset. 

Free freshly popped organic popcorn will be available for all!

Tickets are $20 per person

Social distancing and masks will be required, with plenty of room to arrange seating (we have chairs) and spread blankets (bring your own). Register for tickets here and book now as our guest count is limited!
