Join us at Hilltop Hanover Farm in Yorktown Heights, NY for a hands-on demonstration class where you will learn how to stratify and propagate native seeds.
Register for Native Plants Sowing and Seedling Success
All participants will take home seed stratifying material (including local-ecotype seeds), a full tray of planted seeds and some seedling starts. The workshop will focus on species that are deer-tolerant, useful in gardens, and attractive to pollinators.
This class is designed for ages 12 and up, but we defer to your discretion about the maturity level and interest of your child. Anyone under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
$20 per participant. Registration required.
This is a rain or shine event held indoors at Hilltop’s Classroom.
