Community Farm Work Day
Do you enjoy getting your hands dirty and working outdoors? Then mark your calendars for our Community Farm Work Day on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 10am - 1pm.
The day's activity has been confirmed: join in as we create the farm's first no-till vegetable field! This activity will involve laying down a layer of cardboard across a wide area, followed by spreading several inches of mulch on top. Light lifting, bending, and raking/spreading mulch with hands is required.
No prior experience necessary. All abilities and ages are welcome, but please note that youngsters must have adult supervision. We highly recommend joining close to the approximate start time, for training and to ensure there's time to take part in the activity.
