Preserving the Harvest: Fun with Fermentation
Learn how to preserve the summer harvest using one of the oldest methods of preservation: lacto-fermentation. In this hands-on workshop, you will transform Hilltop Hanover grown cabbage into traditional sauerkraut and lemon garlic dill kraut. Learn about the science of fermentation and the health benefits of fermented foods while creating tasty kraut from scratch. Each participant will take home a jar to complete the fermentation process at home!
$40 each.
Ages 8 and up. Kids under 10 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
